We currently have three staff journeys designed to enhance personal and spiritual development for all staff, support staff, governors and any adults who play an important part in your school. It is especially useful for schools that are facing changes, or have done in the past.

Staff journeys are often delivered as part of an INSET day or twilight session. We can usually facilitate a workshop on creating reflective prayer areas for the classroom and around school, or an introduction to Godly Play if you would like to run alongside the journey. Alternatively schools may arrange their own training or activities for the day, with staff dipping in and out as they take their journey. Some schools choose to run the journey on a school day with staff being released at roughly 10 minute intervals for around an hour each.

STAFF TRAINING

These sessions about 2 hours and can either fit into a school day or be delivered as a twilight.  Topics include An introduction to Godly Play, developing reflecting areas in the classroom, leading class based collective worship, leading whole school collective worship.  If you have another training need in mind, please get in touch.

Staff Journey Topics...

Inspire

Inspire encourages your team within school to work well together, whilst thinking about themselves and their own needs. Our aim is to inspire them to consider spirituality throughout all areas of their work. It also gives them an opportunity to think about their life experiences and if they wish they are able to talk in confidence with our staff about anything.

Reflect

Reflect builds on INSPIRE, offering staff the chance to encourage each other in their day to day life at work whilst considering their own personal life.

Peace

PEACE enables staff and governors to reflect upon their own lives, in school and out. It is particularly good as a follow on from REFLECT or as a stand-alone in difficult times. The focus is on the many definitions of PEACE, and blesses participants with God’s peace.
