Enabling children and school communities to explore Christianity and reflect on their own spiritual journey.

Contemplative storytelling and RE Lessons.

Amazing Journeys into a Holy Space.

Hand to Mouth is a Christian Charity that works in around 70 Primary schools throughout West Yorkshire, Rochdale and Oldham. We work with children and adults to help them think, reflect and develop their own sense of spirituality, whether they have a faith or not.

Hand to Mouth provide schools with creative and innovative learning opportunities. Informed by the RE Curriculum and guided by the learning needs of the school, we deliver reflective Journeys, interactive storytelling and craft activities.

We lead RE lessons, Godly Play, storytelling, puppets and artwork alongside our Amazing Journey. We also run staff training.

RE Days

RE Days offer you the best value! A fantastic day with the Amazing Journey combined with a bespoke combination of lessons and Godly Play sessions to suit you.

Godly Play

Godly Play is a unique approach to Religious Education that invites children to wonder about themselves, God and the world in a way that is playful and meaningful to them.

RE Lessons

We prepare and deliver RE lessons designed to support teachers as they deliver the curriculum and inspire children in their own spiritual journey.

An Amazing Journey

An Amazing Journey with Hand to Mouth is a series of about 6 short tasks set out for pupils (or staff) to explore a theme. We currently offer 15 Amazing Journeys.

“The work they do has been invaluable to the support of children’s mental health and well being as well as their spiritual development and the support of whole school values and vision drive."
